No Class on October 26

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

There will be NO Class on Friday October 26. There will be a class on October 24 and we will resume on October 31.

The inaugural classes this past week was amazing. We had the complete Original Training Group come out on wednesday to train that night. Plus, Joel's cousin came by and did some professional photography for us. Hopefully, my ugly mug didn't ruin the picture.

Then on friday, we had two new participants to take the trial class. They seem to have enjoyed themselves and I look forward to seeing them again.

This up coming week marks the official start of Pugad Lawin at Harmony Center. Hope to see you on the mats!

Intro Classes This Week

I'm excited to say that we have some introductory classes this week. If you want to come and try out the classes, you can attend this week's training for FREE

So here is this week's schedule:

• Wednesday, September 26 from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm
• Friday, September 28 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

These two nights are FREE classes. But, there are two requirements

• You must be atleast 14 years old (limited exception are available)
• You MUST HAVE FUN!

First Steps

Everything always starts with a simple first step. A thought, a plan, a vision or simply a goal. Being passionate about the Martial Arts, it has always been my goal to teach the martial arts. When I started learning a Filipino Martial Art called Modern Arnis, the goal became set: Teach my own culture's art.

So I'm really happy to be able to start my own club: Pugad Lawin Martial Arts Inc. Beginning October 2012, I will begin teaching Modern Arnis at the Harmony Martial Arts Center in Pickering, Ontario. Pickering is a town just east of Toronto.
